This website provides general information about our photography services, portfolio, availability, approach, educational resources, and ways to contact or inquire with us.

The information displayed on this website is provided for general informational and promotional purposes only. Viewing the website, submitting an inquiry, joining a mailing list, or communicating with us does not guarantee availability and does not create a photographer-client relationship.

Photography services are not reserved until all applicable booking requirements have been completed, which may include signing a separate Photography Services Agreement and paying the required retainer or session fee.

2. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTABLE USE

You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian to use this website.

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the website in a manner that violates applicable law;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, its systems, or user information;

  • Introduce viruses, malware, harmful code, or other disruptive material;

  • Scrape, crawl, copy, download, or collect website content through automated means without written permission;

  • Impersonate another person or provide false or misleading information;

3. INQUIRIES AND BOOKING

Submitting a contact form, questionnaire, application, or inquiry does not reserve a date or require us to provide services.

Availability is subject to change until the booking process is complete. A photography session is considered officially booked only after the requirements stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, booking platform, or Photography Services Agreement have been satisfied.

Because birth photography involves unpredictable timing and limited monthly availability, an estimated due date, scheduled induction, or planned Cesarean delivery does not guarantee coverage unless the client has completed the booking process and entered into a separate written agreement with Hailey Copland Photography.

4. PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES AGREEMENT

All paid or complimentary photography services may be governed by a separate written agreement.

That agreement may address matters including:

  • Scope of coverage;

  • Session timing and location;

  • Hospital, birth-center, studio, or home access;

  • On-call availability;

  • Retainers and payment schedules;

  • Rescheduling and cancellation;

  • Photographer illness, emergency, or inability to attend;

  • Client cooperation;

  • Artistic discretion;

  • Image selection and editing;

  • Gallery delivery;

  • Copyright and personal-use licensing;

  • Model releases and portfolio permissions; and

  • Limitations of liability.

If these website Terms conflict with a signed Photography Services Agreement, the signed agreement will control with respect to the photography services.

5. PRICING, PAYMENTS, AND AVAILABILITY

Prices, collections, products, inclusions, and availability displayed on the website may change at any time without prior notice.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, website prices do not necessarily include applicable taxes, travel charges, location rental fees, permits, parking, rush services, albums, prints, or additional products.

Payments may be processed through third-party booking or payment providers. Hailey Copland Photography does not directly control those providers’ systems, security practices, processing times, or terms of use.

Your payment, cancellation, refund, rescheduling, and transfer rights are governed by the terms shown at checkout and the Photography Services Agreement applicable to your booking.

6. RETAINERS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS

Any retainer, reservation fee, or payment required to secure photography services will be governed by your individual booking documents and Photography Services Agreement.

Nothing on this website creates a general right to a refund, reschedule, transfer, credit, or replacement session. Because policies may differ by service, please review the terms presented during booking before making a payment.

7. COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP

Unless otherwise stated, all photographs, videos, written copy, blog posts, graphics, logos, branding, page layouts, downloads, educational materials, and other original content displayed on this website are owned by or licensed to Hailey Copland Photography and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

The presence of a photograph on this website does not place it in the public domain and does not grant permission to copy, screenshot, download, reproduce, edit, crop, filter, distribute, publish, sell, license, display, or otherwise use it.

No ownership rights are transferred to website visitors.

8. LIMITED PERMISSION TO VIEW THE WEBSITE

Hailey Copland Photography grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and view the website for your personal, noncommercial use.

You may share a direct link to a publicly available page or blog post, provided that you do not misrepresent the source or remove attribution.

Unauthorized use may result in a request for removal, invoicing for licensing fees, reporting to the applicable platform, or other legal action.

10. CLIENT IMAGE LICENSES

Clients may receive a personal-use license to certain final images under their separate Photography Services Agreement.

Unless that agreement expressly states otherwise, a personal-use license does not transfer copyright and does not permit commercial use, resale, publication, advertising, editing, entry into contests, submission to vendors, or use by third parties.

Website visitors should not assume that photographs displayed on this site may be downloaded or used simply because the individuals pictured may have received copies.

11. CLIENT GALLERIES

Private client galleries may be hosted by a third-party gallery provider and may require a direct link, password, email address, or access code.

Gallery recipients are responsible for protecting access credentials and sharing gallery links carefully. Hailey Copland Photography is not responsible for access resulting from a client or authorized recipient sharing a gallery link, password, download code, or other credential.

You may not attempt to access a gallery that was not intentionally shared with you.

The availability period, download rights, archival practices, print ordering, and permitted uses of gallery images are governed by the client’s Photography Services Agreement and the gallery provider’s terms.

12. PORTFOLIO AND MODEL-RELEASE PERMISSION

The appearance of a client or family on this website does not mean that every client is required to permit public use of their images.

Portfolio, website, social-media, advertising, publication, and promotional permissions are addressed separately through applicable contracts, questionnaires, or model releases.

Photographs involving children are displayed only under the permissions applicable to that session. Website visitors may not copy, save, repost, identify, tag, distribute, or otherwise use those images.

13. ARTISTIC STYLE AND RESULTS

The Hailey Copland Photography portfolio reflects our general photographic style, including our approach to lighting, composition, posing, documentary coverage, color, editing, and storytelling.

Every session, birth, hospital room, home, studio, family, child, lighting situation, and set of circumstances is different. Accordingly, images shown on the website are examples only and do not guarantee that a future session will produce identical images, poses, lighting, colors, backgrounds, moments, or quantities.

Final creative decisions are governed by the applicable Photography Services Agreement.

14. BIRTH, MATERNITY, NEWBORN, AND FAMILY INFORMATION

Any website content relating to pregnancy, birth, labor, postpartum recovery, newborn care, hospital procedures, safety, health, or family preparation is provided for general informational purposes only.

Hailey Copland Photography provides photography services and is not a medical provider. Website content should not be interpreted as medical, nursing, mental-health, legal, or safety advice.

Always consult an appropriately qualified professional regarding medical care, pregnancy, labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, infant safety, or other health-related concerns.

15. TESTIMONIALS AND CLIENT EXPERIENCES

These Terms do not replace or modify a separately signed Photography Services Agreement.
